Four classes earned perfect scores in PLCs this week! 🏆👏
Congratulations to Mrs. Bingham’s 6th-grade class and all of our amazing first-grade classes — Mrs. Bolton, Mrs. Taurone, and Mrs. Roberts!
These are the first classes this year to earn all 4s in PLCs! To achieve this, students must show what it means to be safe, responsible, and kind in all four PLC classes: Library, PE, Maker Space, and Keyboarding/Computers.
We are so proud of their hard work and teamwork — keep up the great work, Colts! 💙🐴

These fabulous first graders have become experts at synergizing! 💪 Each time they earn 100 class points, they get to vote on a fun reward — and this is their second time reaching that goal this year! 🙌
This time, the class celebrated with donuts 🍩 and a soccer game ⚽. They had a blast playing together and enjoying their well-earned treats! Great job, Mrs. Taurone’s class — teamwork really does make the dream work! 💙💛

Let’s stand together to make healthy choices and show that Colts say NO to drugs! 🐴💪
Join us in celebrating Red Ribbon Week starting Monday, October 27 with fun dress-up days all week long:
👢 Monday: Wear your Western attire to “Give Drugs the Boot!”
🧦 Tuesday: Go wild with crazy socks and crazy hair—it’s crazy to do drugs!
😴 Wednesday: Wear your pajamas because dreams come true when you stay drug-free!
🏈 Thursday: Team Jersey Day—Team up against drugs!
🎃 Friday: Say BOO to drugs! Join our Halloween Parade in your costumes!
Let’s show our Colt pride and commitment to being healthy, happy, and drug-free! 💙🐴 #RedRibbonWeek #GoColts #DrugFreeLooksLikeMe

🐄🌾 Field Trip Fun at Green Acres Dairy Farm! 🌾🐄
Our amazing Life Skills students had a wonderful time on their annual trip to Green Acres Dairy Farm! They represented Country View Elementary beautifully by being safe, kind, and responsible throughout the day. 💙
During the trip, students practiced important classroom skills like waiting patiently, taking turns, and showing independence—all while having a blast learning about farm life! 🐮🚜
We’re so proud of our awesome students! GO COLTS! 🐴💙

Students took a quick brain break today filled with dancing and yoga poses! 💃🕺 Every time the music stopped, they struck a pose and held it for 15 seconds! 🧍♂️🧘♀️
Brain breaks like these are a great way for students to release some energy, refocus, and get their brains ready to learn even more! 💪📚

Today we had the incredible privilege of welcoming some of our amazing district superintendents to our school! They came to read to our students and celebrate our Summer Reading Program participants.
Each year, our district encourages students to keep reading all summer long—and those who log their reading hours earn special recognition. 🌞📖
Today, our hardworking readers were presented with their well-deserved awards by the visiting superintendents. 🎉👏
Congratulations to all our winners! Your dedication and love for reading truly shine. We’re so proud of our Country View Colts—GO COLTS! 💙🐴

We are so grateful for our supportive PTA and caring community who make experiences like this possible for our students. 💛 Thank you for helping bring learning to life outside the classroom! 🌟

Nothing beats the excitement of science coming to life right in the classroom! 🌟👩🔬👨🔬

Each month our students work hard to follow our school-wide expectations: Be Safe, Be Kind, and Be Responsible. As they show these positive behaviors, they earn Colt CARE tickets that can be used for awesome rewards.
At the end of the month, students get to “pay” with their tickets to join in fun Colt CARE activities planned by our amazing teachers, aides, and staff. 💙
This month’s activities were a blast! Students enjoyed:
🔥 Playing “The Floor is Lava” outside
🍂 Making fall leaf globes
🎨 Coloring and crafts
🍡 Building marshmallow towers
🎲 Playing board games
📚 Making bookmarks
🎶 Musical chairs & karaoke
🧩 Building with blocks
⭐ Pin pokes
We love celebrating our students’ success and positive choices—way to go, Colts! 💙🐴 #ColtCARE #CountryViewElementary #PositiveChoices

Mrs. Bolton’s and Mrs. Taurone’s first graders worked together to synergize and create their very own classroom mission statement! 🙌✨ With the wonderful guidance of Mrs. Sarah Hone, our amazing Leader in Me mentor, these students are learning how to take ownership of their classroom and their future. 💡💪
Way to go, first grade—you’re already shining as leaders! 🌈👏

🌈✨ Learning colors is more fun when the whole school joins in! 🎉
Our kindergarteners have been learning their colors, and the whole school joined in to cheer them on. 🎨✨ Thanks to our amazing kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Gines, everyone knew which color to wear each day. From teachers and aides to office staff, so many joined in to make learning extra fun!
At Country View, we’re all about lifting each other up—from kindergarten all the way through 6th grade. 💪📚
Way to go, kindergarteners! 🌟👏
