Community Council Meeting Minutes

January 11, 2023 4:00 p.m. CVE Library

Those in attendance:  Heather Hales, Krystin Amaya, Marci Thorstead, Cindy Waters, Amy Hadley, Rusti Hammer, Shawn Ferriola,Trina Bingham, Monica Widdison, and Adrianna Griffey. 

Those not in attendance:  

Introductions: Rachelle Moore, Chair, led introductions and the meeting.

Action Item - Approval of Minutes from 11/9/23: 

• The minutes were approved with errors corrected. 
• Rusti Hammer motioned to approve.
• Cindy Waters seconded the motion. 
• Unanimous 9 votes.

Digital Citizenship Report Presentation

Monica Widdison presented on CIPA compliance and iboss firewall safety filters and blocked and allowed social media sites. Programs for Digital Literacy were presented; Commonsense.org, Interland by Google, and Net Safe.

School Safety Report Presentation

Trina Bingham presented our school safety report and emergency plan. 

Update on Boundary Study Committee

Cindy Waters presented and updated on the process.
